Tories should start accepting the responsibility for the financial mess

Cllr David Kendall makes a speech about the council's finances

Cllr David Kendall has made a speech at December's full council meeting following the dire financial situation where the Tory-controlled council's accounts have not been signed off, £633K of taxpayers money has been misplaced and the council received a "1" rating for the use of resources.

Cllr Kendall says:

"The Leader can play "the blame game" but after almost SIX years of the Tories running this council I will leave it to our residents to see through her empty rhetoric and decide for themselves who is responsible for this sorry state of affairs."
