Crown Street Pancake Race

February 18, 2010 5:43 PM
Fun and laughter in Crown Street!

Joining in the fun at the Crown Street pancake race!

A bit of fun is what everyone needed to cheer them up in Brentwood Town Centre! So, Crown Street was the scene of the very first town pancake race on Tuesday.

Cllr David Kendall, who was there with his son Jack, helped with the proceedings along with Lib Dem campaigner and town centre retailer Nigel Clarke, who was a key organiser in the event.

The winner was Labour Cllr Mike Le Surf but the important thing was that it brought a lot of laughter and celebration to the town!
