Lib Dem councillors David Kendall, Barry Aspinell and Vicky Davies were busy on Sunday helping local residents as part of a Pilgrims Hatch Community Clean Up Day.

"These clean up days have been a real success over the last couple of days with people from all over the community enjoying themselves whilst getting a real sense of accomplishment from improving the area where they live.

"I certainly got a fantastic sense of achievement from helping a couple, both in wheelchairs, tidy up their garden so they can enjoy it through the summer."
