All allowances paid to members are subject to tax and national insurance.
Borough councillor allowances are the total sum received. No claims for child care, mileage, taxis or other similar expenses have been made by members of the Liberal Democrat group on Brentwood Borough Council.
* Cllr Kendall receives a net amount of £53pcm from this allowance of which £30pcm is being donated to charity.
** Your Lib Dem county councillors will not be claming for mileage to and from county hall, although they are entitled to do so.
