No to Car Parking Stealth Taxes from the Conservative administration

To: Cllr Louise McKinlay, New Leader, Brentwood Borough Council, Town Hall, Ingrave Road, Brentwood, Essex CM15 8AY

We, the undersigned, call upon the new leader of Brentwood Borough Council to:

  • reconsider the increased parking charges in Brentwood which can only have a negative impact on shoppers and traders alike
  • reconsider the high charges for the Coptfold Road and Westbury Road overnight parking and introduce a more realistic fee which is within reach of the local residents.
  • abandon the move to introduce car parking charges at the Town Hall at weekends.
